Anatomy and Biomechanics of the Cervical Spine
Ko Hyun-Yoon

Abstract
Disorders of the cervical spine and related structures of the cervical spine and neck may result in various clinical symptoms, which may or may not be concordant or not concordant with imaging studies or clinical examination. It is important to have adequate knowledge of clinicoanatomical or clinicobiomechanical characteristics of the cervical spine in understanding various clinical problems occurring in the cervical spine or the surrounding structures. This article will provide useful clinical implications from a biomechanical standpoint and an outline of functional anatomy for physiatrists dedicated to the management of neck and cervical spine disorders.
